User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; WOW64; rv:19.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/19.0 Build ID: 20130307023931 Steps to reproduce: I ripped a tab from my current window so I could have it in a window on it's own. Actual results: The tab ripped successfully, but a thumbnail image of the tab remains drawn on the screen on top of all other windows. Quitting Firefox does not resolve it. Expected results: The thumbnail should have disappeared.

Sorry, been unable to remember the password to this account for a long time. I gave it another go this evening when it happened again. As such, yes it does still happen with later versions. I am currently running 26.0

Can confirm that this happens on an entirely new machine and an entirely new profile. Unsure about safe mode currently.

Can also confirm this happens in safe mode. Cannot reproduce again to record a video however. This only seems to happen on the boundary between multiple monitors. When it does happen, it only happens in one direction. If I have a window with multiple tabs on screen A, then rip a tab quickly to screen B and it appears, I can manipulate the thumbnail position by ripping a tab from the original window on screen A to screen B. (Doesn't have to be a new tab, I can redock the original one which caused the bug). No matter what the contents of the new tab are, the thumbnail doesn't update. However, it will change position to the location where you crossed the screen boundary most recently.
