On some pages, it's pretty common that distinct links (or other active elements that do something on click for example) are located closely together. On small touchscreens with large taps such as the ones in phones, it's quite difficult to tap the correct link. 

After few weeks with android, the correct way to tackle this issue seems to zoom in roughly the area that was tapped to the size where each of the active areas can be comfortably tapped on with low risk of "tapo". The zoomed links should behave exactly the same as any other links.

Yeah, this is something we need to implement. We have a bug open for it, so I'm duping this to there. If you have suggestions on what the user interaction for this should be like, please feel free to comment in that bug.
