Details
User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; WOW64; rv:19.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/19.0 Build ID: 20130215130331 Steps to reproduce: Started Firefox after an update was downloaded. Actual results: Unknown error updating Firefox (the problem is that another user was running Firefox on the same system). After that, even though the other user already updated, it tries to update anyway and reports an error every time Firefox starts. Expected results: It should have detected that another user was running Firefox and not tried to update. It should also test if the update was already installed by another user before trying ti update again.

We added checks for this on Windows and a message to the about dialog when this condition occurs. There are also bugs open for Linux and Mac OS X. Closing old bugs as incomplete. If this is still an issue please file a new bug.
