Flicks video detail page won't allow films displayed in the post-play screen to play after being clicked by user. Firefox Beta 20.0
I can verify, they work for me in Firefox 19 (release) but not in 21 (Aurora) or 22 (Nightly). I suspect this is a Vimeo problem.

I wouldn't be so sure. I'm able to click and watch post-play videos on reddit successfully in Nightly, but it fails on Flicks.

So I guess it *is* our problem but I wouldn't know where to begin fixing it.
From what I can see on Reddit's video embeds, the post-play videos launch in a new tab on Vimeo. This is an odd experience anyway, and the text isn't localizable. I suggest that we change the video preset on Vimeo to go back to the beginning of the video once playback is complete. We also have the option of showing a link, which could link back to the video listing page, but the link text can't be localized. If we can somehow think of a string that would be okay to use (or if we're okay with having that link be English-only), then that might be a better option. Thoughts?
Mkelly, I like the idea of changing the Vimeo preset to go back to the beginning of the video after it has finished playing. It's better because it won't leave the future Firefox browser user wondering what to do next. Although I don't know the breakout of which versions of FFx are being used most, Almost 90% of the Flicks traffic happens on a Firefox browser. To Craig's point, if we have this problem in Beta, then we will have it in the release version at some point. MKelly: Ben has suggested that we place a Back to the Gallery link on the video detail page (outside of the video player) to draw viewers back to the thumbnail gallery. If the link you're suggesting is in the video player, I think we should just reset to the beginning of the video that just played. That we way we avoid an English-only link. The link on the page that Ben suggested would be localized and would send the viewer back to the gallery listing page. Of course, the ideal would be to make the films in the gallery much more discoverable in the post-play. Because who doesn't want to see 49 seconds of men dancing in a poorly-lit room? Am I right?!
I've updated the settings for the videos on the production Vimeo account to go to the beginning of the video once playback is done. The remaining work is adding the "Back to Gallery" link. craigcook: I can handle it if you want me to, I just need guidance on what you want it to look like and where you want it to be.

Setting as wontfix as part of firefox flicks 2013. The gallery is now in the top nav.
