This function doesn't appear to be a part of the W3C spec by default and may removed eventually. Not even sure it's worth investing time getting a test here.

This will be removed hopefully in the next couple of days with the patch on bug 837035. It will be part of the data channel test framework until it is getting removed. So we could mark as dupe or wontfix. I would tend to say wontfix.
