85051 - Seeing background of select element between some selected option elements

Using build 2001060804 on Win2k (SP2) 

There seems to be some space between options. 

Let's assume that all the options are colored yellow.  What you should 
see when you drop the list down is a solid yellow background in the area behind 
all the options. However, between certain options, there is a break in the 
background letting the parent element's (select) background shine through.

You can see this http://bugzilla.mozilla.org/query.cgi by looking at 
the "Status" Select list.  By default the following are selected: New, 
Assigned, Reopened.  Between "New" and "Assigned", the white background shows 
through.  If you highlight the rest of the options below that, you will see the 
same thing between "Relolved" and "Verified".

You need a newer build than the 7th to see this.  It seemed to happen after 
rods landed a slew of changes on the 8th or 9th which actually fixed a lot of 
forms behavior such as the onChange handler in select boxes.  However, one of 
those changes seems to have added this regression.

I really don't think this is a dup.  It is very consistent.  This has nothing 
to do with "garbage [being] painted in it".  Plus, this isn't limited to multi-
select boxes.  Look at the testcase that I made:

It is a normal dropdown select list.  The issue seems to be that certain option 
elements don't have the normal line-height set for them or something.

I have seen the "garbage" described in bug 84928, but that really has nothing 
to do with this.

Reopening.  I don't want this one getting lost.

I'd like rods to make the determination whether this is the same bug or not.

thought.  Oh well, WFM now.
