Steps to reproduce:

In gchat, popped out the chat window and resized it to be small. 


Actual results:

Firefox informed me that firefox sync failed. The error message at the bottom of the gchat window resized the window to fit the message in full.


Expected results:

Error message should not automatically resize window and interrupt user's work.
