Considering how much time passed from the report, I'm going to close this as WONTFIX.
In general these days we're trying to block these changes as soon as possible (see bug 957674 for an example), if possible even before they land on gaia-l10n.
Transvision has a view that lists all strings changed without new IDs (currently between 1.2 and 1.3)

As a general rule, better to file a bug in the specific app when this happens.
