STR: * have a incoming call * press home Expected: * does nothing Actual: * go to home
Assigning to David to investigate and find an engineer to put on this.

The user should have the ability to not answer the call and be free to go to the home page. Tested this, while an incoming call occurs, if the user tap the home button, the homescreen is shown with a green bar on top showing the caller phone number. The user is then free to take the call or ignore it. In my opinion this is the right behavior and this bug should be invalid.

I understand the rationale and I agree that the feature is useful. however this is too easy to miss a call with this. I'd rather see an actual action in the call screen to simply ignore the call without hanging up. Josh, any advice on this?

Moving the ni? over to Rob who will talk with Casey today about the expected behaviour here.

I confirmed with Casey and the current behavior is expected. This is to prevent users from exiting the call interface accidentally. Thanks.

I don't exactly understand Comment 5, as to me, the current behavior exactly makes users exit the call interface accidentally. After discussion with David, I understand this was already discussed a lot in the past, so I'll close it for now.
