851068 - FFox 19.0 attempts to restore tabs when I DO NOT want that behavior

Steps to reproduce:

I almost always use FFox in mode where "when firefox starts" is set to "home page." Recently changed to restore tabs from last session, can't remember why, but that same day set startup option BACK to home page.


Actual results:

Since that time, every few restarts of FFox result in error message like one attached. Don't get me wrong, this isn't a huge deal. But it's a defect and I haven't experienced this weirdness before, in many years of using FFox. Thanks.


Expected results:

Should have loaded home page.

That's a screenshot of the Crash Recovery page, not a normal restart.
Please copy the first few links listed at this address:

into a comment here for further analysis.

To workaround seeing this after a crash you can go to about:config and change the value of:

browser.sessionstore.max_resumed_crashes

to 0

Last 3 entries. Baffled as to why there is only one in 2013, as we have seen (I believe) that error page at least 4 times in the past 2 weeks.

Thank you Tiziana for following up on this problem. I am now running 23.0.1 and I believe I have NOT seen this problem in several months, so it seems likely to me that it was fixed since release 19.
I much appreciate you and your colleagues' efforts to continue to refine Firefox.
