In bug 819167 we removed the "subscribe to this question" option. That was a mistake, let's revisit that:

1. Bring back the subscribe option.
2. Collapse the sidebar items by default
3. Save the state of collapsed/expanded items.

Here is Bram's UI proposal for this: https://bug819167.bugzilla.mozilla.org/attachment.cgi?id=690284 However let's use "Question details" for the second box

The user stories are:

1. As a user I would like to see the question and the answer. Showing me the full length sidebar creates a lot of white space making me miss the answer.

2. As a contributor I need the tools in the sidebar, but some more often than others and I don't want to expand them every time I open a question.
Sounds like we need to revert the patch for bug 819167 and hope there are no conflicts. Then we need to change the UI to match Bram's design.

I am estimating at 2pts (conservatively) because I don't know if that will be a clean revert.
