Steps to reproduce:
Open multiple tabs.
Open a multiple page PDF (any file will do).
Example: http://www.fande.es/Fandite/Ficheros/BARCODES.pdf
Select print and pick a printer.
Click OK.
Switch to another active Firefox tab while printing prepares the document.
Actual results:
Alert: "Print Preview Error An unknown error occurred while printing."
When OK is clicked to dismiss the message, a partial printout is sent to the printer.
Expected results:
Printout should complete normally.

Maybe it’s related to the Print Preview bug 787450 or a bug mentioned there.

I don't get an error message when switching tabs, but I do get one when tryin to open the output pdf. It is corrupt. I can't get back to the confirmation page to print a good copy.
