User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; WOW64; rv:19.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/19.0
Build ID: 20130307023931
Steps to reproduce:
Performed hotel search on tripadvisor.com.
Actual results:
Vast areas of white space. Frames / tables (did not look a page source) are disjointed. Actual search results are several screens down the page. See screenshot(s) [will have to add 2nd as followup to this defect report]
Expected results:
Should have rendered correctly, as same search does in IE 64-bit. This is a relatively new defect and makes Firefox at least tedious with this site, enough not to use Firefox for it and have to use (ugh) IE.

Several screens down, here you finally see the tripadvisor search results.

>Performed hotel search on tripadvisor.com
You forgot to include all the details in your Steps to reproduce like an example search term.
From your screenshot i guessed that opening this URL will show the issue:
http://www.tripadvisor.com/HACSearch?geo=154945
Is that right ?
That works for me using Firefocx19 and Firefox trunk on windows7.
Can you please try it again in the firefox safemode:
- load the search page and hit ctrl+f5 (that is a forced reload)
- if that doesn work try it with http://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/Safe+Mode
- if that still doesn't work try a new profile http://support.mozilla.org/de/kb/Managing%20profiles

Hello und guten Tag,
Thank you for responding so quickly. My apologies for not including all the details, but the URL you gave does demonstrate the problem. Here is the additional info:
- still wrong with forced reload
- still wrong in Safe Mode
- created a new profile. NOW LOOKS OK with new profile.
May I please ask your help - how to repair my default profile to fix the rendering problem I am now seeing?
Vielen Dank!

Please delete the created profile again (be sure that you don't delete the olde one) !
Start Firefox with your old profile and enter about:support in the firefox address bar and use the "reset Firefox" button on the right side. The reset feature should preserve your bookmarks, history and passwords.

Thank you again. "reset Firefox" seems to have fixed the problem with TripAdvisor rendering. I much appreciate your help.
