Until bug 837323 is fixed, touching the CLOBBER file requires that you still manually clobber the trees using: https://secure.pub.build.mozilla.org/clobberer/ This is a constant source of confusion, requiring IRC explanations what feels like once a week. Let's add a comment for now.
