Works fine for me on the latest Nightly: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; WOW64; rv:25.0) Gecko/20130627 Firefox/25.0 Yurii, please can you confirm whether this issue still occurs using Firefox in safe mode or with a new profile? http://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/troubleshoot-firefox-issues-using-safe-mode http://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/profile-manager-create-and-remove-firefox-profiles
I just had this exact same problem, only, in my case I was having it with downloading Torrents, so I tried downloading the same torrent from another one of my Windows 7 PC and IT WORKED WITHOUT A PROBLEM! In My Case the Problem was one of these Anonymose IP Address Programs - and it was This that was causing all the trouble.. one disabled the problem went away.
Hi reporter, I haven't managed to reproduce this issue on the latest release(43.0.4) nor latest Nightly(46.0a1). If i download a file twice, both Firefox versions ask me if I want to replace the previous downloaded page. User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; rv:43.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/43.0 Build ID: 20160105164030 User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; rv:46.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/46.0 Build ID: 20160111030207 Can you please try to reproduce this on the latest release(43.0.4) and latest Nightly(46.0a1) and provide the results? When doing this, please try to reproduce with a new clean Firefox profile, maybe even in safe mode, as some of this issues may be caused by third party installed add-ons or custom settings(https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/troubleshoot-and-diagnose-firefox-problems). Thanks, Paul.
