The examples/annotator has no pb tests, otherwise they would have failed..
I think now that we should close this bug, the examples are meant to be examples, and so having tests like the basic ones that I was thinking about, around private browsing, seems unlikely for an add-on dev to write.  Also we should have these pb test cases covered in our module test suite now.
