Poster give more info about the problem or at least the build id, you can get it using about: in the url bar.
Please provide sample http in a snippet or an attachment.
I have the same problem with 0.9.1. I have IIS running with ASP on my PC. I can test all my ASP pages in IE (I'm on Win2000), but as soon as I try to open the same URL in Mozilla: http://localhost/trans/dev/index.asp it just sits there forever and does nothing.
Try using "localhost.netscape.com" as the hostname... or "localhost." (less likely to work, but who knows?) If that works, this is a dupe of bug 86449.
