Will look into the following:
- Inline validation for newsletter instead of refresh to confirmation page.

- Interaction for "Follow us" vs. Sharing a specific message to Twitter & FB followers. "Follow us" is a more direct interaction. Sharing a message to FB/Twitter requires us to hide next step behind a "Share" button for security reasons. (will validate this)

Regarding Twitter & Facebook sharing and following:

Q: Do we always have to hide sharing (i.e.: Hey twitter followers, I just downloaded the newest version of Firefox!") behind a "Share" button? The user clicks the share button and it then displays the option to share to Twitter, FB, etc. We can't expose the FB and Twitter share buttons at the parent level because of security issues, correct?

A: Correct. The embeddable buttons they provide (and require by policy) snoop on visitors. By hiding them in that (Share button) menu, they don't load until the user makes a delibrate action, so no automatic snooping happens.

Q: Can we link directly to our accounts on FB and Twitter with "Follow Us on..." messaging?

A: Yes, just a link is fine. It's embedding their script that loads from twitter.com or facebook.com that does the sneaky stuff

You will find Windows screenshots to use in the designs here:

Please use the more simplified instruction for bookmarking within the awesome bar instead of the dropdown menu in the right corner. Thanks!
