When running the demonstration for bug 604039 (URL in this bug) sometimes my joystick activates itself. It appears to be the case that raw joystick input is treated as sufficient to activate the joystick, and that the natural jitter of joystick positions is enough to get noticed by the joystick implementation.

Some sort of deadzoning should be applied when deciding whether analog input is sufficient to be considered as user input (It's great that analog input can activate a joystick though; having to press a button is a real deficiency in chrome's Implementation).
