Aaron contacted me about the possibility of testing WebApps using Robocop. I still have to investigate if this would be possible but we should see if we can support WebApps testing using Robocop. Most likely we won't be able to check app content, interactions or switching between apps unless we can find a way to do that without minimizing one app and opening a second but some minimum testing on WebApps would help catch regressions like: bug 787617, bug 852526, bug 849539. Since we can't use the Mozilla Market place website in the labs we most likely would have to add the webapp in the robocop package. Also we may have to wait until the webapps will be added as apks to android in order to open them from the test harness - there where some talks about making the apps more android friendly and installing them as apks.

Doesn't need to be tracked, but we should try implementing this automation eventually as part of the apps feature set. ==> P2

Whiteboard: [WebRuntime]
Per bug 1235869, we're going to disable the Android web runtime, so we won't fix this bug in it. (This is part of a bulk resolution of bugs in the Firefox for Android::Web Apps component, from which I attempted to exclude bugs that are not specific to the runtime, but it's possible that I included one accidentally. If so, I'm sorry, and please reopen the bug!)
