might you be encountering bug 80817? does reloading the page display the new
font change?
just wondering if it's a dup of 80817, or perhaps a Mac OS X-specific issue...
cc'ing folx who have [or, might have] OS X to see if they encounter this.

It doesn't look like the same bug as 80817 because changing the font size on Mac
OS X version seems to work just fine (text is reflowed and things look OK).
On the other hand, changing the proportional setting and then hitting reload
results in the correct font being displayed, so it may be a similar problem.

I see the same on Unix -> all.
I *think* it worked some time (months) ago.

I think this is the same as bug 90081 - basically, the style rule tree needs to
be destroyed when the preferences are changed, be they font or color styles.
If this is a regression like I think it is, then it should work before 5/30 but
not after 6/01

Bulk reopening incorrectly expired bugs - no activity does not constitute no bug - these need proper checking.
