What feature should be changed? Please provide the URL of the feature if possible. ================================================================================== Currently the revision dashboard shows the list of pages and the diff for the selected revision below it. It would be nice to have the option to display them side by side. What problems would this solve? =============================== This would optimize use of screen space for users with wide screens; if I could open up the dashboard full-screen on my iMac with the list and diff side-by-side, I could plow through reviews much faster and more efficiently. Who would use this? =================== Users with a large screen that want to do reviews. What would users see? ===================== A checkbox or other control to toggle between vertical or horizontal placement of these areas of the dashboard's UI. What would users do? What would happen as a result? =================================================== Toggling the option would simply move the diff area to be next to the list of revisions, and the revision list would expand vertically to use up the freed space. Is there anything else we should know? ====================================== Ideally, this would be a preference that would be saved for the user, but for starters, just having it be a toggle for once you're in the dashboard would be fine. Maybe use a query string on the dashboard to let you specify which orientation? Like: https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/dashboards/revisions?orientation=horiz To put the two areas side-by-side.
I think this is obsolete with the revision dashboard revamp, which will make it a lot easier and faster to navigate already. Please reopen if there are other thoughts.
