steps to reproduce:
1. Start the purchase flow for any paid app
2. Enter PIN
3. Click the Buy button in the Confirm your purchase flow

reproducible? sometimes. I have seen this issue often enough for it to be a concern

observed behavior:
Sometimes, the purchase fails with this vague message "Try again. Tap this message to dismiss"

As promised, trying again aka clicking Buy again leads to a successful purchase.

Keir, do you have info in your server logs about this error? If it's client side only, could you use console.log(...) so we can help you track it down?
This will be fixed as part of the Error message unification, being discussed with Moz UX, to be deployed by 18th for 22nd testing week
