User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64) AppleWebKit/534.34 (KHTML, like Gecko) konqueror/4.10.0 Safari/534.34

Steps to reproduce:

start thunderbird calling for incoming mail.


Actual results:

takes very long to connect to server, than the amil is downloaded and the message "chrome://trackerbird/content/trackerstore.js:98" do you want script to continue or stop? appears
continue: the machine mills on with no further results
stop: thunderbird crashes


Expected results:

I presume, that the script comes automatically to an end, when all e-mail is downloaded, but the function of trackerstore is not clear to me.

"trackerbird" shows up as a 3rd-party analytics software, it definitely isn't a part of Thunderbird itself. Try Help > Restart with Add-ons Disabled and see if it resolves the problem. If yes, go into Tools > Add-ons and search for any plugins or extensions matching "trackerbird" then disable or remove them.

Eh, wrong track - that's not the .NET utility (which obviously wouldn't work on Linux) but a Gnome indexing utility with the same name. Maybe one of the following links helps, otherwise please file a bug report with openSUSE as explained in http://en.opensuse.org/openSUSE:Submitting_bug_reports

Trackerbird is the addon installed by tracker-miner-thunderbird.

It usually causes more issues than it helps and I always recommend to remove the package.
(Same for tracker-miner-firefox btw). But indeed if you want to report the issue please do that in the openSUSE bugzilla using the Gnome component.
Can IMHO be closed here.
