Details

I today noticed that the Stop button seems to be enabled at times, even when it
should not be. Like when mail/news starts up and no process is under way.

This is confusing.
Happens on browser too.
Close all Moz windows and start up Moz browser, and you'll get the bug.
I too am seeing this in the browser but only if I alter the preferences to load
a blank page at startup. If I set a home page to load then the stop button
disables it's self when the page completes loading.

Can't verify this in the mail window though.

Pressent in the 0.9.2 build and Mac/2001072408 nightly.
The stop button is enabled for me too in the browser if I open the browser, or
open a new window. It opens a blank page according to my Preferences. Notice
however that entering about:blank in the Location bar and pressing enter makes
the stop button disabled.

This is with 0.9.8 on Linux. Could this bug get a target milestone?
Note: This bug can only be reproduced in Mail/News when "Check for new mail at
startup" is disabled for all accounts.

Also this bug may be a dupe of bug 73967. I´m not sure if that bug also covers
issues with the Mail/News Stop button.
