When you tap the tabs drop down button thing (the one with the number  on it), that button and the context menu button disappear (as expected, I  guess).  But when you close the tabs drop down again, those buttons  become visible suddenly just at the end of the animation.  That looks  wrong.

I agree; on my Nexus 4 it takes maybe a quarter-second for those buttons to come back after the animation is done, and it feels kind of awkward. Can we put them back earlier?

I think any sudden transition will look bad, we should animate the transition somehow.
