Steps to reproduce:

I got a mail in yahoo mail.co.in and found xxx.txt Flat file is attached. I tried to open after downloading in the downloaded window by right clicking on the downloaded file and found menu with options. I clicked on "Open"


Actual results:

File is opened in Notepad. but data is displayed in Jumbled(incorrect data).


Expected results:

when I opened the same text file in desktop,text file is opened with correct(good) data.

The attached powerpoint slides aren't clear enough to tell what the exact differences are between the two data files.  Would you mind attaching clear screenshots of the bad case?  Just the first line or so of the "bad" file should be enough, for what it's worth.

Also, just to make sure, you have a file in your downloads folder.  If you open it via Explorer it opens in notepad correctly, but if you open it via the "Open" in the download dialog it does not?
