Downloading and unpacking the source tarball for Firefox, I noticed that there are a number of symlinks in the tarball (and thus files that are supposed to be included in the source are missing - the source tarball is incomplete).

Trying to unpack (on a Windows machine) with tar -xvjf gives me the following at the end of unpacking:

tar: mozilla-release/toolkit/crashreporter/google-breakpad/autotools/compile: Cannot create symlink to `/usr/share/automake-1.11/compile': No such file or directory
tar: mozilla-release/b2g/config/panda-gaia-central/sources.xml: Cannot create symlink to `../panda/sources.xml': No such file or directory
tar: mozilla-release/b2g/config/panda-gaia-central/README: Cannot create symlink to `../panda/README': No such file or directory
tar: mozilla-release/b2g/config/panda-gaia-central/releng-pandaboard.tt: Cannot create symlink to `../panda/releng-pandaboard.tt': No such file or directory
tar: Error exit delayed from previous errors

The symlinked files are only used on unix platforms AFAIK.
