Attached file bug in buttons.7z
User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; rv:20.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/20.0 Build ID: 20130326150557 Steps to reproduce: All the drivers on my laptop are already up to date. Enable hardware acceleration in Firefox. Actual results: If the hardware acceleration is enable, when mouse moves around the area of the buttons in firefox interface, the images of the buttons will become weird and slightly twisted. Meanwhile, some weird noises will come out from the screen. Expected results: This bug will not happen in other browsers or softwares. Only in firefox when enable hardware acceleration. Will this bug be harmful to the hardware of my laptop?
Could you paste the "graphics" section of about:support please.

This is very likely a driver issue and disabling the hardware acceleration is the best thing that you can do. I doubt that there is anything that we can do about this.
But this driver issue doesn't affect other browsers like IE & Chrome. Is there any possibility to solve this problem? Will it be harmful to the hardware if I keep using Firefox with hardware acceleration on? Thanks!
Did you check if there is an update for your Intel Chipset (integrated graphics)?
This is already the latest driver on Intel official website, released . There is no further update so far.
Severity: normal → S3

Reporter, are you still experiencing this issue?
