When I go to Facebook's activation page and try to activate their social provider I get the following error in error console: > NS_ERROR_UNEXPECTED: Component returned failure code: 0x8000ffff (NS_ERROR_UNEXPECTED) [nsIPrefBranch.getComplexValue] > resource://gre/modules/SocialService.jsm#497 This is a regression in Firefox Nightly 23.0a1 starting 2013-04-05 so I suspect bug 851936 has caused it.
old-style activation that facebook uses got broken, and the test didn't cover that situation. test added.
