It can happen that an event goes Live in terms of the website but in reality the live stream might not have been switched on.
The challenge is to somehow "ping" Edgecast to ask if the stream is up yet.

This has now been deployed on dev. Can you please test :Richard?
(before you test archiving a live event, make sure you open it and keep it in a tab so you can see what it looks like if you kept the page open)
Basically, as soon as you convert a video from Live to Vid.ly it's now in status PENDING.
* Reloading the page should show something about it being pending and no video (live or vidly)
* The pending event should disappear from the home page, the calendar, the RSS feed and the sidebar. If you can reach a pending event (without using direct URL, e.g. bookmark) then something is buggy.
* In the Event manager, the pending event should get its own table.
* A cron job will every 5 minutes see if the status of the vid.ly tag is "Finished" and if it is, it immediately becomes status Scheduled again and the archive time gets set.
Cool, eh?
