Description

User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; rv:10.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/10.0

Steps to reproduce:

I installed a hosted app via Firefox for android with a complete cache.manifest from a development server on a private network (http://192.168.0.XX:8008/ ).

Actual results:

When I attempted to run this app outside the network, the app failed with a "Can't establish a connection to the server at 192.168.0.XX:8008" . Restarting the server and restarting or reloading the app locally causes a full reload of the app's pages from the host.

Expected results:

On FirefoxOS, the app is loaded from local cache even when the connection fails.
Hmm...that's an interesting problem. Installation of an app on a private network where resources are cached locally, then used outside of private network.

In terms of priority, the primary consumption point right now is any app on marketplace. Other flows off of marketplace are technically supported, but lower priority.

I'm going with P2, but not A4A here.

Whiteboard: [WebRuntime]
Per bug 1235869, we're going to disable the Android web runtime, so we won't fix this bug in it.

(This is part of a bulk resolution of bugs in the Firefox for Android::Web Apps component, from which I attempted to exclude bugs that are not specific to the runtime, but it's possible that I included one accidentally. If so, I'm sorry, and please reopen the bug!)
