User Agent: Opera/9.80 (Windows NT 6.1) Presto/2.12.388 Version/12.15 Steps to reproduce: I installed Firefox 20 on my Win 7 system as an upgrade from a previous version of Firefox. Actual results: When it was time to reboot in the installation process, I followed the instructions and rebooted, but after rebooting and trying to restart Firefox, I was told that I needed to reboot. This happened numerous times. I was unable to complete installation, repeat installation or open Firefox. Whatever I did, attempting to work with the Firefox file gave me the same "need to reboot to complete installation" message. Expected results: I should have been able to open and use Firefox.
>I installed Firefox 20 on my Win 7 system as an upgrade from a previous version of Firefox. Do you use the Firefox internal updater and have you also tried to install the full installer downloaded from mozilla.org ?
I responded to a yahoo mail note saying I should get Firefox 20 to enhance Yahoo browsing. I followed the link and did the update. I am not sure about the "full installer". Now, whenever I try to open Firefox, all I get is"restart computer to complete installation". Was the supposed yahoo mail a scam?
Do you have a special Yahoo Firefox Edition ?

Ed, if you are still experiencing this issue, please download the latest Firefox version using the bellow link and let us know if the problem persists. http://www.mozilla.org/en-US/products/download.html?product=firefox-20.0&os=win&lang=en-US Thanks!
I did as you suggested, but as in previous attempts to uninstall or reinstall the program, it would not let me do anything until the current installation is completed by restarting the computer, which does nothing to complete the installation. I need to get it cleared out of my system before I can install Firefox 20.1. Thanks for your help, please try again.
I have the exact same problem. I even tried a system restore from a few days ago, but that didn't work either.
