Details

When you use |mach run| or |mach debug| to run the XUL application, the mach process finishes before the process does. Contrast this with running the firefox binary directly from the terminal. I think these mach commands should block until the launched app terminates. This will allow you to CTRL+c mach to kill the app, for example.

This may be an OS X issue only.
