Crash in morkNode.cpp when selecting a particular newly subscribed newsgroup

Win32 build 2001-06-12

1. Subscribed to a newsgroup. I subscribed to mcom.beta.feedback.browser on
news.mcom.com. (This is internal newsgroup to Netscape.)
2. Select the newsgroup in the folder pane.
3. Get dlg for downloading. Set to download 150 msgs and mark remaining as read.
4. Noticed that the cursor was an hourglass for a long time after I clicked OK
to the download dlg.
5. Eventually, crashed.

When I restarted and selected this newsgroup again, I continue to get the crash.

Stack trace attached.

Also, other newsgroups which I had added from that same news server was fine.
Attached file stack trace of crash
had you been subscribed to this group before? I was able to subscribe to it and
open it with no problem.
No, I haven't subscribed to this before. I wonder if I have to delete the .msf
file and have it work. I think something is now corrupted. Can I send you my
.msf file to see if you have this problem using it? Is that possible?

do you still have the .msf file? Can you send it to me? thanks.
Yes, I'll send you the .msf file via email.
fix checked in. Same cause as bug 90215

Resolution: --- → FIXED
Using Lisa's testcase, I was able to set Download 120 Headers and Mark Remaining
as Read. Opened up the newsgroup (in about 5 seconds) and no crash.

Bug 90215 has a few more comments regarding the crash with this stack, but since
I can't reproduce Lisa's crash, marking Verified FIXED on:

Windows 2000 - 2001-07-15-08

I also checked Mac and Linux:

MacOS 9.1 - 2001-07-13-09
RedHat 7.1 - 2001-07-13-21
