For the last week or so, almost (but not) all of my text messages come up blank when clicking on them: see e.g. http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8254/8639250655_9a1a70d37b.jpg

But when viewing the message from the Inbox list, you do see the first line of text right there: http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8103/8640353250_8d8f7b1cbe.jpg

This started about a week ago, and I'm currently on beta, 20130404070202.

I, and I believe MattN as well, have been seeing this also. It makes SMS basically unusable.

I am seeing this with a text message that I received today while running the 20130408 beta build on the Unagi hardware.

Is this happening in v1.0.1 or v1.1? I think beta is on v1.1 but would like to double check. qawanted to try to reproduce this with v1.0.1

David or Jared, do you think you would be able to give us some log (from logcat) of when you try to display a thread ?

This looks like that a javascript error happens so it would help a lot..

Additionally if you click "Edit" in conversation view and "Select all", it will tell you "N messages selected." So it seems the messages are loaded but somehow didn't display.

No JavaScript error in my adb logcat.

I can reproduce the bug.

NEEDINFO Vicamo about the gecko error that happens on the b2g18 branch. Do you know why this happens ?
