It would be neat to be able to create a test instance on Landfill and click an option to pre-populate the database with some sample data -- say, 10 fake users, 100 fake bugs, and a few products and categories. This can be really useful for testing! It would also be great for me as I put together tutorials and workshops to teach people how to use Bugzilla effectively as bug filers and triagers.
There are already thousands of bugs and user accounts created for you. What else do you need??

Frédéric: Ah, I thought those changed all the time as people played with the test instances. If they stay the same, then it should work fine for my purposes! Thanks!

What's wrong with that? :) Note that once you create your own demo install, you are the only one to know the URL, so the data is less likely to change.
So they do change... I thought so. The thing I specifically wanted was a standard set of fake data, which would be really useful for teaching and tutorials. If you can imagine me teaching a workshop on bug triage to 40 high school students who are interested in contributing to open source you might see the desirability of a standard data set that can be used simultaneously in different instances by a bunch of people, then which is wiped...and will be the same for the next class! :D For most purposes, sure, whatever random data shows up and changes constantly is just fine. I thought that, if I can imagine this use case being useful for me, then I am probably not the only one who might benefit by it. Do not worry, there will be more ideas, some good, some bad...
