Steps to reproduce:

Open Firefox and typed any website hit enter. 


Actual results:

I started getting multiple(2-3) pop-up’s with error message "Assertion Failed"(as showed in attached image) in npn_gate.cpp file etc, and even after closing them they do not vanish, but they keep coming.


Expected results:

After doing some research found that Shockwave Flash Player version 11.6 is causing this issue, disabling this solved the issue. But none of the flash was working after disabling this. I installed earlier versions of Shockwave flash that did not pop-up any error, but there might be a possibility that earlier versions of shockwave may have other bugs in it, so I uninstalled earlier version. And without flash enabled Firefox is 50% disabled for me now.

Please, update to Firefox 20 because Firefox 19 is EOL. Same issue with the latest Flash plugin?
In addition, could you attach your screenshots as JPEG or PNG, please.

I had updated my Firefox to latest which is 20.0.1
My Shockwave flash is 11.6.602.180 (NPSWF32_11_6_602_180.dll)

I get pop up assertion failed with above settings in my local laptop. I am surprised that no one had raised this issue and I will be more surprised if no one know this issue ! 

Pls let me know if you need more details from me. Now I had attached JPG.

Is this still an issue with for you?

[1] suggests that this could be an interaction issue between Real Player and Flash.
If you still have that problem check that you have the latest Flash and Real Player installed and if disabling all RealPlayer or RealNetworks related entries in Tools->Addons->Extension and Tools->Addons->Plugins helps.

This issue doesn't exist with the latest Firefox which I got in July end, till then even though with whatever the version of Firefox or Flash I had the same problem, I was almost moved out of Firefox due to this issue and started using another browser, but now this issue has been fixed.

Pls keep a look on bug's and give a proper update, else we users do not have any way to catch developers. Thanks.
