The URL bar on a 640x480 resolution is quite short.  In the classic theme at
least, I'd like to see separate bars for the URL and for navigation buttons like
all previous Netscape and Microsoft browsers.  Actually a preference for this
option would be preferred.

That would be interesting.  Maybe they could the use the extra space to shove
the 'Home' button next to the back, forwared, etc. too.  Like it was before.  Or
better yet, an option to choose to place the 'Home' button were it is now or
move it up next to the other nav buttons

You can't do this in a theme specific way.  There is another bug somewhere for
doing it globally in xul.
