(Reporter: jincreator, Unassigned)

Details

User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64; rv:23.0) Gecko/20130415 Firefox/23.0
Build ID: 20130415030812

Steps to reproduce:

Try to connect IRC server which use dangerous(self-signed, expired, ...) certificate.

Actual results:

See error message and can't connect it.

Expected results:

Can force to use it.
Firefox will show warning when SSL certificate has problem, but users are able to force access site.
I think we need similar function to Thunderbird.
Component: Untriaged → Instant Messaging
OS: Linux → All
Hardware: x86_64 → All
I know the other bug says it's for XMPP, but the code is the same...it also applies to IRC.
