User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10.7; rv:20.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/20.0 SeaMonkey/2.17.1 Build ID: 20130410205209 Steps to reproduce: Restart SeaMonkey after Force Quit…Restore Session Window appears but there are no tabs, pages, etc. listed in Restore Session Window, button grayed out. Actual results: No listed tabs or windows to restore. Expected results: Previously opened tabs and windows should have been presented for Session Restore.
Is, Go | Restore Previous Session, grayed out?
Yes…button for Restore Previous Session is greyed out and there are no tabs or windows in the selection box.
WFM, in Windows. To be clear, you are "killing" SeaMonkey, forcing it to abort abnormally. Appears the setting of 'Edit | Preferences | Browser -> Display on' is immaterial. (Only difference is the number of consecutive kills needed to force the Session Restore window.) sessionstore.json, sessionstore.bak are being created, updated, in your Profile?
Session Restore was working just fine either after Force Quit or Elective Quit but now when SeaMonkey hangs up and goes into Force Quit mode when I restart there are no previously open pages, tabs, windows etc, listed like before and I have to click start new session button to proceed and use history to recreate or go to previously open tabs, etc.
As a test, if you create a new Profile, does Session Restore work as expected there?
Go figure…Session Restore spontaneously resolved itself and is working just fine!
Ok, closing this bug as works for me (you) then :)
