Description:
When changing the update channel from Beta to Nightly the device will be stuck on an occasionally-flashing black screen.

Repro Steps:
1) Updated to Unagi Build ID: 20130418070205
2) In ADB, run the RevertNightly.sh script.
3) Observe the state of the device when the script completes.

Actual:
After the RevertNightly.sh script is run, the device goes to a black screen that occasionally flashes.  No other response is seen on the device.

Expected:
The device restarts with no errors, and the device is now on the nightly update channel.

This issue is blocking the smoketest for the Unagi v1.1 Commercial RIL.

Recommend escalation to Pri 1

Odd.  All the script does is unmount and upload a pref file, stop and then restart b2g.

It doesn't even do a full reboot.  Something probably got it stuck when trying to do a start b2g is my guess.

It's unclear why there's a smoketest testing going from Beta channel to the Nightly channel, and it sounds like there's some issue with the script being run - this is not a shipping blocker but we'll track and it should still get priority to unblock smoketests.

Upon further investigation, it appears that the real issue is the device restarting (whether from the restart command or shutting down and starting again).  See bug 863395 for more details.

Unable to repro on Unagi 1.1 mozilla RIL.  Resolving as Worksforme.

Verified on Unagi 1.1 mozilla RIL.  Reverting to nightly from beta does not cause the device to hang.
