Here is fringe case. Once I forgot to tab after entering my email address and typed my password. Now my password is visible in plaintext whenever I focus on username field. 1. Go gmail.com and enter my email username field: email@gmail.com 2. Fails to press tab 3. Enters in the password in username field Now whenever I focus on usernname field, my email/password is visible :( Is there a easy way to clear such cached fields
Attached image Screenshot of the bug.

The right username consists of "baw"+four digits (blacked out), the "bawe" was a typing mistake of mine and is still there in the suggestions ever after.

Hello there, this bug is still open. Once you typed somewhere your username wrong, it will be hang there forever.
And I haven't saved the password for this site, like the tread-opener hadn't, too.
I have this problem in my Firefox Nightly, 75.0a1 (2020-03-09) (64-Bit) at the page https://www.stine.uni-hamburg.de/, on Windows 8.1 61-Bit, but I suppose it is not Nightly alone that has this bug.
I thought providing a screenshot could animate someone to work on this bug? ; )
Using Firefox Nightly I am here for testing. How about adding a function that a right-click at the username offers "delete username"?

Thanks in advance!
