User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; WOW64; rv:20.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/20.0 Build ID: 20130409194949 Steps to reproduce: Hi, As you know, internet advertisings often open in another window (not in another tab). I try to close them using the Windows explorer bar, as here : http://image.noelshack.com/fichiers/2013/16/1366537129-bug1.jpg Actual results: Firefox considers I want to close the CURRENT Window : http://image.noelshack.com/fichiers/2013/16/1366537129-bug2.jpg This makes Web browsing very annoying : for each advertising, I now have to click on it in order to fully display its window, then close it. Expected results: Firefox should have closed the window I clicked on
Note : even right click + "close" on the second window does the same error (firefox tries to close the first window). http://image.noelshack.com/fichiers/2013/16/1366537715-bug3.jpg
Likely a dupe of bug 854926. Could you confirm it's fixed with Firefox 23, please: http://nightly.mozilla.org/
