User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 5.1; rv:20.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/20.0 Build ID: 20130409194949 Steps to reproduce: Click 'Save All' button for an email that has multiple attachments. Right-click a folder expecting to get a context menu Actual results: Thunderbird hangs with an hourglass cursor. No noticeable CPU usage by Thunderbird. Clicking the close X button brings up windows' 'Application not responding' message. Expected results: Anything but hang. A context menu with 'Explore' and 'New Folder' would be nice. Ignoring the click would also be okay.
Trevor does this occur with beta from http://www.mozilla.org/thunderbird/channel/ ??

Yes. Is there a way to keep beta and release versions installed and separated and not trying to use the same profile?

(In reply to Trevor Morgan from comment #2) > Yes. > > Is there a way to keep beta and release versions installed yes. when using the .exe installer, pick "custom" > and separated and not trying to use the same profile? https://support.mozillamessaging.com/en-US/kb/using-multiple-profiles Note especially thunderbird.exe -ProfileManager You can also run TWO thunderbirds against two profiles at the same time by using -no-remote but it takes some getting used to. see https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Mozilla/Command_Line_Options
Thomas does this sound familiar?

bug reported against winxp wfm winxp, tb17.0.8, pop3 in save-all folder select dialogue, right-click on folder correctly opens OS context menu for folders. I don't think this is a bug in TB.

Trevor, if it reproduces in safe mode - https://support.mozillamessaging.com/en-US/kb/safe-mode - then please reopen the bug.

And a stacktrace if you can get it. https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/How_to_get_a_stacktrace_for_a_bug_report (I can't preproduce this using vista)
