Details

User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64; rv:20.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/20.0 Build ID: 20130326150557 Steps to reproduce: go to the http://thejh.net/misc/website-terminal-copy-paste select the aparently git clone line and copy it go to a text editor and paste it Actual results: It should paste what the user see, the git clone, instead we get hidden text Expected results: Just like bug #39098 (that is closed) , copy should not copy hidden text... in this case the hidden text is off screen, should not be copied. I dont know if other hidden techniques (like CSS, font size and color) work please note that linux have both the PRIMARY (select and paste) and the CLIPBOARD (normal copy&paste), both should exclude the non visible text This could be a local client security problem if the user is copy&pasting command, trying to debug or fix something (many times as admin/root users), but he info is already public, no need to lock it up
DUP of Bug 504748 - Web sites can make Ctrl+C copy something other than what it looks like you are copying
