In https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/new/product/topic at the bottom, we show "If none of these solutions work, summarize your question in a sentence" and then repeat the sentence in the text box. This feels like a waste of space in a page that is already quite full. Can we remove the title and make the contrast in the text box bigger? The ultimate goal is to remove the duplication and make it obvious that if the articles don't help you, you need to write the summary of the question in the textbox.
Adding this as a candidate for the next sprint

Whiteboard: u=user c=aaq s=2013.9 → u=user c=aaq p= s=2013.9
So which of the two should we keep? I think you want to just keep the placeholder text in the textbox? Either way, it's a small easy change. 1pt

Bram has come with an interesting concept to make sure that we don't make it more obscure to ask questions if we remove the title. So, what about making the text box bigger at the same time as we increase contrast by making the text pure white? There are 2 options, make the text box bigger without making the text too much bigger or make box and text bigger. If we do the box bigger the readability of the text is better but the box is not as visible. If we make the box and text bigger, suddenly the call to action on the page (Ask This) loses weight (it becomes the smallest font on the site). The solution to that is to make it bigger...then again we enter a competition to make everything bigger. So, that said, I believe that we should test making the box bigger. See if we improve the situation and make further decisions based on the results of it.

Ah, yeah the text was light because it is placeholder text and it gets a different style than the typed in text. But, our colleague David Walsh can teach us how to style placeholder text: http://davidwalsh.name/html5-placeholder-css
Let's try this and see how it works. We may lose clarity on the fact that the box is a text box... but it's worth trying.
