So far it Plugincheck uses like the screenshot in bug 707493 the old way to go to the addon manager.

This is the first try to update the FAQ here.
I have one concern, changing instructions to a link to SUMO means most of the locales will get the instructions in English as there is a limited number of locales on support.mozilla.org
ah ok, so you would still prefer a guide there on the plugincheck page. Will look into this
