With the new Australis change (I can only reproduce on UX) the location bar doesn't extend to the whole window.There is a big empty space between it and the end of the window. You can reproduce this behaviour here https://bug586212.bugzilla.mozilla.org/attachment.cgi?id=512038 I don't know if it is customization or tabs related though.

This is because the nav bar customization target has flex="200". Removing that means that in ordinary windows, the search box and such elements get really squished. Ordinary toolbar buttons are fine, though.

Perhaps we should remove the flex and simply give the search box a fixed width?
This is *probably* fixed now that bug 864355 and bug 864425 have landed on Jamun.
