86675 - Won't send POP mail used to work in "official" 0.9.1

I try sending e-mail using any Win build newer than 0.9.1 (release) and the
message just won't "go". The new status window thingie pops up and starts doing
its thing, but I've waited up to 30 minutes and the message doesn't "leave".
Everything else gets hung, BTW, cant' browse web pages or download new mail or
anything...  

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. compose new mail message
2. press "send"
3. voila!

Actual Results:  mail doesn't "leave".

Expected Results:  Send the message!

It doesn't actually crash... it just hangs there.... useless..

nothing else works after that, I can observe the othe windows, but if I try to
browse another web page or download new mail it won't do anything

Reporter(Luis): the summary is certainly wrong. You do not send mail with the
POP protocola but with SMTP. POP is only for fetching mail frm a server.

Do you have the following setting?
Account Settings | Outgoing Server (SMTP) | Use Secure Connection: Where Available

If changing it to Never repairs the problem, this is a duplicate of bug 84731
(most probable as it's the default setting for the release you use) If not this
is a new and separate bug.

Since the reporter did not respond. This bug is indeed a dup of bug 85304 which 
is the recent ssl bug that got fixed.
